impressionistic oil painting of an abandoned train car with graffiti on it on the left, a dirt track moving into the painting from the foreground into the distant background, lush green trees on either side of the track casting shadows with dappled light onto the dirt track. The primary focal point is a stand of tall narrow trees with light filtering through them on the left hand side of the track.

The “Graffiti Train” on the Lambertville towpath is an iconic landmark and familiar to anyone who hikes and bikes along this beautiful path. This sidelined train car, covered in art and immersed in this serene setting, has always appealed to me and resonates with me now more than ever.
